Michael Scott collaborated as video artist with choreogragher and dancer David Hughes during two weeks of research and development at Dance Base, Edinburgh, for David's next dance performance project to be premiered at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, 12 May 2007.
TalkingDance designed publicity material for The Ultimate Chill's Edinburgh heat to find a new young band for Dundee's
'battle of the bands' event.
TalkingDance produced a DVD and publicity stills for Ross Cooper's Curve Foundation dance company based in Musselburgh, just outside Edinburgh. The programme included Jonathan Watkins' first professional commission, Beyond Prejudice.

Urban Island
Scottish youth dance company YDance's Urban Island was a dance/video/music performance project working with young people at the An Lanntair Centre, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
Michael worked with four 16-year-olds and an artist in residence to create projected video, film, and animated stills in only three days. No computer editing was employed. Participants were kept active at all times, shooting and re-shooting coherent material and then actively involved in the projecting of the video and film during the performance - one on roller blades!

Jig in Hand is a 4-minute film of the hands of young people at Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, set to the music of the Edinburgh band Shooglenifty.
